The surface has been hand-finished. The checkered fabric is 100% coarse cotton with a high yarn count and a thick feel. It uses pure cotton stretch ribbing. The ribbing is dyed to match the body color.
The checkered fabric in the hood has a quilted lining, not a single layer! The checkered spacing and colors are custom-made to match the original design. Each hood is identical, with symmetrical stripes on all sides. This requires exceptional tailoring skills and is time-consuming, labor-intensive, and uses a lot of materials. The flannel material is a special material for this year. It features a five-piece drawstring on one side, leather loops, a brass eyelet tag, a bell, and a zipper, replicating the original design. It is embellished with leather trim.
