When you receive Le Labo Another, you might wonder how to visually express its scent—it’s not an overt fragrance, but rather a gentle warmth emanating from the skin, only noticeable upon close inspection. Therefore, I combined dried pear slices with withered wood, allowing the fruity essence to cling to the musky skin, letting time and air be the perfumers.

The top note is the sweet, slightly curled pear slices in the wind; the middle note is the amber warmth hidden within the woody texture; and the base note is the interplay of dryness and softness when touched—like this perfume, initially clear and bright, then gradually sinking into the skin, becoming a subtle fragrance in your memory. Some say Another is “the most familiar embrace in a strange city,” while my creation is to visualize that embrace—it’s quiet, yet it can remind you, in a moment, of an old book dried in the sun, a damp pear, or a long-forgotten sweater.
