Made with the same wool blend as the original, featuring three materials: skin-friendly Tencel, selected wool, and lustrous silk. The wool yarn composition is % wool, % cotton, and % nylon, enhancing the fabric’s drape.
The main body of this garment is made using a double-ply wool knitting machine, while the hem, neckline, and cuffs are precisely knitted using a STOLL flat knitting machine.
The production process of this knitted sweater is extremely complex. After the yarn is ready, the first step is to reel in the yarn on a napping machine. The second step involves adding a special solution to wash the yarn and remove surface impurities. The third step involves creating small pieces, which are then individually stitched together on a stitching machine. The fourth step involves washing the finished garment to fix the shape and improve the feel. Finally, it is ironed and packaged for shipment.
This garment has a very slow machine processing time, using an imported STOLL machine. Each garment takes up to several minutes (excluding the neckline, hem, and cuffs). Only one garment can be produced per day (approximately 10 hours). Slow and meticulous work yields fine results.
The logo on the chest uses an inlay technique, requiring multiple pattern making and adjustments to achieve the original effect. This process demands exceptional skill from the craftsmen and precision from the weaving machines.
To ensure the button material and size match the original, we disassembled the original pattern, used it to create a mold, and custom-made shell buttons for a highly accurate replica.
Custom-made washing labels, size tags, and multiple wash labels ensure a high degree of fidelity to the original.
