The outer layer uses NpWINDSTOPPER L fabric, filled with Coreloft thermal insulation, filling a gap in Arcteryx’s mid-weight insulated jackets.

This hooded version of the Cold series offers full windproof protection, excellent warmth, and lightweight comfort. It’s typically used as an outer layer, layered under other mid-layers and base layers. The fabric is the renowned Windstopper, with a softness between the older Gossamera and Fusion’s WS. Therefore, it can be used as an outer layer or as a mid-layer under a shell jacket. Features:

The outer WINDSTOPPER fabric is fully windproof and offers some water, dew, and snow repellency, with a balance of softness and durability. The Coreloft filling has excellent warmth-to-weight ratio and thermal insulation efficiency, is easily compressible, and has excellent water repellency.

The internal waistband features a vertically zippered design to minimize snagging and wear with tactical belts.

The structured shoulder and elbow cut provides excellent mobility without hindering tactical movements.

There is one internal zippered chest pocket and two external zippered hand pockets with internal openings for communication cables. Both arms have zippered arm pockets with hanging loops for storing items.
