– Gamma MX is Arc’teryx’s top-selling softshell jacket, a renowned all-rounder, suitable for both urban and outdoor use. It features a thin fleece lining, ideal for mixed activities in changeable weather.
– Gamma MX has multiple pockets, including two symmetrical chest pockets and two hand pockets. Opening all pockets can aid in ventilation when necessary. The old model had a taped pocket on the left arm; this design has been removed in the new model for a more minimalist overall style.
– The fabric is DWR waterproof treated, allowing for short-sleeved… It’s rainproof, snowproof, and stain-resistant, and its breathability is better than WindStopper, though its windproofness is slightly weaker.
(Its windproof and waterproof performance, as well as the fabric texture, are superior to the Gamma LT in the same series.)
