This cable knit V-neck sweater is crafted from delicate mohair and sheep wool, creating a harmonious interplay between the fan-shaped hem of the sleeves and the wavy intarsia lines on the cuffs and collar.
A contrasting V-shaped intarsia adorns the left hem,
adding a preppy touch to early spring looks.
Made with a blend of wool and acrylic yarns (% wool % acrylic dyed yarn). The complex process requires separate pieces.
This piece is knitted on a Juxin machine. The logo area on the front requires a yarn feeder. The entire garment involves twisting and turning the yarn, which can easily cause holes at the intersections.
The brown portion of the garment is made of mohair, requiring a longer machine setup time.
The hem of the sleeves has added stitches, all with edging,
increasing both knitting and sewing time.
Because of the edging technique, the brown yarn around the logo is clipped to the edge, requiring yarn pulling. Furthermore, due to the characteristics of mohair, it sheds during the thread pulling process, requiring the removal of stray fibers bit by bit by hand, which is very time-consuming.
