-The Retro-X jacket’s excellent windproof capabilities come from Patagonia’s technical R-type windproof fleece jacket (using Polartec Windbloc windproof fleece fabric).
-Similar to the R-jacket, the Retro-X uses a three-layer fleece fabric: a millimeter-thick Sherpa fleece outer layer, a polyurethane windproof membrane middle layer, and a moisture-wicking breathable mesh lining inner layer. Three functional layers work together to retain body heat, block wind, and provide a smooth, skin-friendly, and breathable feel. The addition of a middle windproof membrane makes the garment more durable and also offers some water resistance.
– The entire garment features elastic stitching that is strong, stretchy, and extremely comfortable. The manufacturing process is extremely complex, with neatly aligned panels and precise stitching density throughout, demonstrating meticulous attention to detail and quality control.
